Import duties & taxes
Our dresses are made in Lagos and delivered by DHL Express. Whether you pay anything on delivery depends on where you live. This is exactly what to expect.

Why we cannot tell you the exact amount
Duty rates are set by your customs authority and change without notice, and DHL adds a fixed handling fee in some countries. What we can promise: we always declare the real value and the true origin of your dress. We never under-declare — it is illegal, it would void DHL's insurance on your parcel, and it is not how we work.

If you refuse the parcel
If you refuse delivery because of the charges, the parcel comes back to us. We refund the price of the dress minus the return transport and any charges DHL bills us for the refused delivery. If you tell us within 14 days of delivery instead, the first-order money-back promise in our Fit Guarantee applies as normal.
Duties on a return
Duties and taxes are paid to your government, not to us, so we cannot refund them. In most countries you can reclaim them from your customs authority when the goods are returned; we provide the paperwork (commercial invoice and proof of return) on request.
